I was in Nashville a couple of weeks ago and saw a car all "pimped out" and a girl singing across from UMG Nashville--SunTrust building -- anyway, I stopped to listen and Karla Davis an independent singer/songwriter was plugged into an PA system singing to the record labels inside! It was crazy and awesome at the same time! I asked her what she was doing and she told me she is going to different record labels (Nashville to NY) in hopes to gain some attention! It was a very cool idea and I thought was a great story and just wanted to share it with everyone! She is really good (www.karladavismusic.com) and I wish her all the best! Come on give her a record deal she's awesome!!
