Electronic music scene

Hey y'all. I'm going to be visiting Nashville on July 7-8 and am looking for somewhere to go dance! I am obsessed/passionate about electronic music - underground or even just a nightclub with a good house dj, does anyone have any suggestions?

Having your techno clubs is great, techno music was originally made for party music and played at Detroit high school clubs.

Having your own music to play in local hip hop or techno clubs is great, but if you are lucky enough, you might be played on national radio.

DJ Dave Amerman from NYC is spinning at Limelight on Sept 8th. I have heard him in San Fran and NYC and his parties are very good. Lots of women and he brings the heat with Heavy Vocal Trance. He was 12 Pack on a bunch of VH1 Shows

Hey everyone just moved from west coast where techno is all over with tons of raves. Heya, I'm swinging thru Nashville on 10/21 and was looking for somewhere to hear some EDM while in town.. Any suggestions? Comming down from Indianapolis for an unrelated concert.. gonna see switchfoot on the 22nd at Exit/In but would love to find some House/Techno while I'm in town..

i've actually recently moved to nashville. i am a techno dj and producer. i'm actually looking for a club to become a resident in. i feel nash and the surrounding area has a strong techno crowd, just theyre underground.

Lets bring it back

I just moved here from austin tx where the electronic music scene was smashed by the police around 2001. We made a big come back. When I moved to Tennessee I know of at least 6 night clubs that were doing electronic events. I have the know how and am stocking up on music, lasers and things needed to make a good party. Unfortunately there is a very weak electronic/dj scene in Nashville compared to other cities.

Most of the djs I have seen lately play 80's style music, which is all the fad these days with all the little Nashville hipsters.

Play Dance Bar - it is gay friendly, but late a night it's more of a mixed crowd. Wish I had a string of places to send you to, but there just don't seem to be much!

Techno clubs in nashville?

I moved here a couple years ago and have yet to find any clubs that spin electronic dance music. I'm mainly looking for trance/ hard trance but house or DnB is cool too. I've heard of a couple gay clubs that do but I don't swing that way, does anyone have any suggestions?
