Would like to see an overview of neighborhoods and communities in Nashville especially in relation to safety. I think it will help any newcomer to the place. You can always start a new thread under General Questions & Nashville Chat. If we see a need for a category on the Nashville.com forum for jobs, we'll certainly consider it. Thank you for calling this to our attention!

Best of luck to you.... ;)

What's your interest in where to live? Meaning, how close to downtown Nashvilledo you want to be? There are lots of real good neigborhoods, but other than going to the that city's local police dept to get crime stats, not sure where else you'd get them. Oh yea, also word of mouth. Here are some real good places to live: Brentwood, Murfreesboro, Green Hills area, Franklin. Green Hills is the closest to downtown. The others are further away, but definitely all great places to reside, especially if you have kids.

Close to town - I like the Green Hills area.

In the 'burbs - I like Franklin (trees, hills & shopping!) - and Murfreesboro - a town growing by leaps and bounds. It's 'slowly' catching up!
