I am hosting a going away party for a coworker who is moving to Nashville...I would like to theme the party "welcome to Nashville" with a menu that reflects Nashville favorites, and other "Nashville" locals items to "break her in" to her new home...have googled for ideas but am not too successful in finding appropriate ideas...any suggestions from locals would be much appreciated!

You can't go wrong with BBQ or pulled pork plates / sandwiches and BEER! : ) Also, anything southern - fried chicken, fried okra, mac & cheese.....

Well i guess, a fried okra is really unique menu in a party, thats a great idea.
Here is my suggestions: you can have a baked brie, blue cheese vodka balls, and the marinated tomatoes and olives. And also for a dessert: a champagne flutes filled with chocolate mousse, and a star shape cookies and bowls of chocolate truffles.
