The wife and I are looking to move from South Mississippi to the Nashville area here in the next few months only problems is none of the hospitals nor Ambulance services so some kind of rate of pay. I understand that it varies from person to person based on experience but I cant seem to even find a base rate for either.
I was wondering if anyone on here was in that line of work and could give me a base rate of pay.
I myself have 7 years EMS experience and just received my Paramedic and hold the following certifications: CPR, ACLS, PALS, AMALS, PHTLS, I also have all the mandatory FEMA ICS class finished as well and have been part of several Deployments to disaster areas.
My wife has her Associates in Nursing and has been a NICU nurse for the last 2 years and is part of the NICU transport team. Her certifications I really have no clue what she has.
I've also looking at housing in the area and see that an advantage house runs in the 200k range. We were wanting to be close enough to the city but yet far enough away to be considered in the country.
We do plan on taking a trip to the area here in the next couple of weeks to feel it out and see if we really want to live there and raise our daughter in Tennessee. I personally have always wanted to live in Tennessee and can't think of a better place the wife well she just hard to please sometimes....lol.
Any help in any of this would be great and I will continue to search around this site and of course Google as well and I thank you for the help in Advance.
