Hi, thanks for such an excellent forum, just stumbled on it and I had a quick question...
I'm coming to Nashville next week for the first time. I have a generous budget with the company I'm with, and I was trying to figure out where I might be most comfortable...
I will have a rental car, so it doesn't have to be smack in the middle of everything, although it can be (doesn't matter either way)...
I know everybody is a little different, but for me, the main things I look for in a hotel are, in order of importance:
1) new and very comfortable beds
2) clean, modern, and spacious rooms
3) contemporary hotel with nice fitness center, nice business center
At the moment, I'm booked into the Hilton downtown, just because it seemed very nice. Some of the reviews I've read seem to indicate that it's fantastic, while others seem really down on it. Since I've never been there, it's hard to judge. Any thoughts? And in terms of a modern hotel that has great beds and nice rooms, any better suggestions? I saw on one Website that the Hermitage Hotel is a five-star hotel, and it looks beautiful, but the truth is it's not quite my style. Okay, well thanks so much, I'm looking forward to coming to your amazing city!!
