Recommendations for live music

[The K's in Chattanooga]

My husband and I visiting Nville Sept 25 and 26th. We like live music but without the college age kids. Where would you recommend?

It's kinda hard to get around the college kids since there are 4 colleges within like a 1/2 mile of each other! Try these venues - Mercy Lounge, Exit / In, 12th & Porter and 3rd & Lindsley. Think about getting there early before the 'college crowd' moves in...

For live music, head over to Broadway which is where all the honky tonk bars are -and- these have the whole age range of people. Some of the newer bars are getting a younger crowd, such as the Stage, but places like Tootsies, 2nd Fiddle, etc. are very broad in terms of clientele. Have fun! :D
