Hi, I am looking to rent an apartment in Nashville sometime early spring of 2009. However, Since my husband has not found a job yet, I have no idea what my price range is!! He runs a small recording studio now, and wants to get into that eventually, but he also works in a tech support call center and figures on starting at one in Nashville to get us started. Does anyone know what kind of money we are looking at and what price range we would be in? We have no debt, so our only bills are utilities and the like. Help, anyone!
So does this mean you have no idea of where in or around Nashville you'll be living? If you can narrow down to an area, I might be able to give you more of an idea. Of course living more in the downtown area will be nothing less than $1200 a month and that's likely for a one bedroom. Also, you mentioned family - how many kids? How many bedrooms do you need?

Wow, opening a studio in Nashville is not easy. Because its property is so in expensive out here, more and more people have there home set ups. This means shrinking clientele base, and many of the bigger studios willing to cut deals. The shrinking music industry feeling has finally hit Nashville also.
As far as how much, it really depends on where you live. You can rent a decent house for around 1200 to 1500. As a bigger city transplant, it all seems super cheap here.
for what its worth, we love it here.
