Internships/idea ?'s

Hello,

My name is Vince and currently I'm a junior at a four year college I am currently attending. My home where I have resided my entire life is in western Pennsylvania. I am a drummer, singer, and am very into writing my own original lyrics. Music has always been in my blood my entire life. I became very determined as a child and still am to make it in the music business as recording/touring Country music artist. I am a very versitle drummer that can put a riff to any music any other types of musicians can play. As my maturity has grown I have realized that in order to make this determined dream a reality for myself this dream is about networking/contacts type business. I am wondering if anyone has any suggestion(s) for me as to how I can begin this networking process for me right now? Such as in any type of internship opportunities/ideas I can put into effect now in order to start heading in the right direction I am determined to go in to make my dream a reality in the near future?

Any advice I can get on interships/ideas I can put into effect will be greatly appreciated!!!!!!:)

If you don't already have a list of contacts for record labels, artist management, publishers, etc. in Nashville, then contact Music Row Magazine (MusicRow.com) and sign up for a subscripton. Music Row has a lot of contact information you'll find very helpful. Spiff up your resume, let everyone know of your availability for an internship, and be ready to knock 'em dead! :D
