Nashville Calender!

What events are going on during the month of June? My husband and I are wanting to take a trip there for our 1 year anniversary and would like to know what events are happening around that time!

We can tell you the biggest event in June will be CMA Music Festival 2007! It will be held from June 7-10. More info & tickets: 1-800-CMA-FEST (262-3378)

CMT Dukefest (the annual gathering of Dukes of Hazzard fans) will be on June 2 & 3 at Music City Motorplex (TN State Fairgrounds). CMT DukesFest 2007 will feature two days of personal appearances by the stars of the beloved show, two days of “Hazzard style” music, plus car stunts by the original “Dukes” stunt drivers, the appearance of more than 100 General Lees (the 1969 Dodge Charger which also starred in the show) and many other family attractions. You can't come to Nashville and miss a visit to the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum (http://nashville.com/attractions/countrymusichalloffame/index.html). They have on-going exhibits such as I Can't Stop Loving You: Ray Charles and Country Music and For the Good Times: The Ray Price Story.

Have you been to downtown Nashville? There doesn't have to be anything specific on the calendar in order to enjoy a great night out downtown. There are lots of restaurants and honky-tonk bars - you can't go wrong!
