Hi everyone,
I just found this site and I am so thankful that I did.
My husband may possibly be taking a new positon that would move us to Nashville. I have children that will be 5th graders and I would love some information about schools. That is a VERY big factor as to where we would like to live. In doing a little research myself, it looks like we would like the Williamson County schools. Also, we are coming from a small town that has quickly been turning into growing town. (which is ok with us) .

I am looking for some suggestions as to which neighborhoods would fit our situation. I am not exactly sure of our price range but I thinking around 350k to 400k or so.

Thanks in advance for your help!!

Both Williamson & Rutherford counties have great schools. Williamson County is closer to Nashville, a bit more congested than Rutherford County, but it's a beautiful area. Rutherford County is growing by leaps and bounds - you get more bang for your buck here. I'd check them both out to see how what type of a feeling you get.

Hello,
The state of TN has a web site that allows you to review any of the public schools scorecards.

You can access this and more info about public and private schools in the Greater Nashville area at www.nashvillesmls.com/nashville-schools.php (http://www.nashvillesmls.com/nashville-schools.php)

If you are looking for a home in a particular school zone, after you have done your research, any of the agents on the Nashville.com RE/MAX team can search by sepific school zones. This means that if you have a price range and a home profile in mind, we can search all the homes in a school zone that match your profile :)

Please feel free to contact me if you have any other questions about the housing and schools in the Greater Nashville area and Nashville itself.

Gary :)

Gary, thank you so much!

The link you provided is very helpful.

My husband's interview is next week and we should know more then. I will definently contact your office if a planning trip is in order for us. Thank you for your willingness to help out.
