suggestions please..

My parents and I are traveling to Nashville Feb 16-18. We are just going for a weekend trip and would like to see some Nashville highlights. Maybe cruise around noted subdivisions to see where the stars live, or even see some shows that will be going on then. I also am an aspiring artist and would like to submerse myself in the "music row" area. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I could get myself known to producers and people from the labels?? Any advice will be appreciated.
