Coming to Nashville in 2 Days!

I’ll be visiting Nashville from Detroit in 2 days. I’ll be staying at the Holiday Inn Express for 4 nights. I’ve been researching things to do the last few weeks.

Here is what I plan on doing/visiting:
1.The Country Music Hall of Fame
2. Musicians Hall of Fame
3. Belmont Mansion
4. Honky Tonk bars on Broadway

Is there anything close to the hotel worth seeing? Keeping in mind I’ll only be there 3 full days.

Is downtown Nashville safe?!

You can also walk to the Frist Museum of Visual Arts, Tennessee State Museum, Schermerhorn Symphony Center (they offer free tours Mon, Wed, Fri & Sat at 1pm and lasts almost an hour), Ryman Auditorium which is a National Historic Landmark. The Ryman does offer tours, but there is a charge. I would also suggest heading over to Opryland - it's nice just to walk around and there's also the Opry Mills Mall (if you want to shop) right next to Opryland. However, you can't walk here, you'll have drive and it takes about 15 minutes to get there.

Nashville is safe, but always be careful of your surroundings and stay with the crowds. Don't venture off by yourself late at night.
