I am coming to Nashville next month for the Springsteen show. I am looking at staying at the Days or Ramada by the Stadium. I understand they are about a mile from the Sommet Center. I am looking for something within walking distance, or something that is accessable bymass transit.
I have heard that staying at the Days or Ramada may pose a problem for walking because they are across the the River. My information is that walking across the bridges is not doable. Is this correct?
There is a walking bridge over the Cumberland River, so while it's certainly doable, if you decide to go this route, be careful. Nashville is a safe city, but late at night, you'll want to be with people, never by yourself once you start walking away from the mainstream hustle & bustle of downtown Nashville.
Holiday Inn Express on Broadway is located very close to Sommet Center - you may want to check them out too. There are plenty of great places to stay, but will cost you more than Holiday Inn as well as the Day's Inn or Ramada.
Have a blast!

I was going to suggest the Holiday Inn Express as well.
