Hi All,

My wife and I will be making a trip to Nashville July 13th - 20th. She has a conference there and I'm hoping to do some networking to hopefully make some connections.

Anyways, during the day while she's attending seminars I'll be looking to go see some music and hopefully find a place where a drummer might get a chance to sit in on an open jam.

Does anyone know of any bars that might present me with such an opportunity?

While your wife is at her seminar - go hang out downtown Nashville. It's not likely (sorry to be a downer) you'll be able to get on stage at any of those bars and jam with the band, but you never know who you'll meet at the bar. Talk to everyone. Also, a good place for you to hang out is Exit/In. You can reach them at 615-321-3340 - might be worth seeing what they suggest. Good luck and have fun!
