Hello! Just moved south of Nashville and I'm looking for a grocery that sells cheap produce. Is Farmer's Market in downtown my only hope? I gone to an international market on Murfeesboro Rd but they did not have strawberries. Thanks in advance.
Yes, you should find good prices at the Nashville Farmers' - Winter Market. Here's the info:
Metropolitan Davidson County & Nashville Farmers’ Market
900 8th Ave. N.,
Nashville
The Winter Market offers great local foods - fresh winter produce, honey, eggs, cornmeal, artisan foods, farmstead cheese, all natural meats as well as holiday crafts and gifts. It's open every Saturday from 8am until noon in their Interior Market.
As far as whether they have strawberries, it varies every week. Your best bet is to call them a day or two in advance and ask - Here's the number: 615-880-2001.
