Hello,
Does anyone know anything about the "Nashville School of Music" it is held in Nashville every year. It is a week of intensive training and classes in music career subjects. Then on the weekend the Nashville Star Search Symposium a top Nashville career workshop and showcase event for singers, writers, and industry. You have a choice to showcase for a fee. My daughter is planning on visiting Nashville this summer and is pursuing a career in performing, singer/songwriter. Her first cd with original music will be out the first of the year. Any advise on this event would be great.
Thanks,
Cb

I know about the Nashville School of Music, it's a music business, voice, and image school. For real performers and songwriters, not like a university class. It was at Gaylord on Broadway when we went. It was everything promised plus more. They had Wynonna's personal image consultant there!

I don't think you have to go to both event, but the Star Search part of it is very worthwhile with prizes like TV and contracts and there are talent scouits there too. You have to get your own meals and food. It's very professional and the company has been in business a long time in Nashville. I would say you have "no worries"!
