It is possible my husband will be transferred to the Nashville area over the summer. We have one child, 4 years old, and would appreciate input regarding school districts in and around Nashville area. We will probably locate in the "burbs" either to the South or East of Nashville.
Thanks!

Hello,
If you would like more information about the school systems in the Nashville area you'll also have to be aware that Nashville is in Davidson County primarily and has a small section in Williamson County...very small. To the south of Nashville, Brentwood is in Williamson County and Davidson county. Franklin is just Williamson County.
If you do consider other areas around Nashville you'll find that hendersonville, Goodlettsville and Gallatin are to the north east and are in Sumner County. To the East Mt Juliet and Lebanon are in Wilson County.
This link will give you access to search the Official State site for Tennessee and links to public and private schools.

The last time I moved, I used a movers' guide to help me prepare. It also has information about schools and the community you are moving to. The navl.com/movers-guide/movers guide is on the north american van lines website - navl.com
