possibly relocating to Nashville

Hi there,
I have been recently thinking of relocating to Nashville but have a few questions that I am hoping you can hlep me out with. I was wondering if you or anyone can give me just a small insight to the pay rate out there? I work in the hospitality industry and have been since 2002, I am a night Manager at a Marriott and was wondering how the pay differs from Minnesota? I am also wondering what a Customer Service pay rate starts at? Also I am a single mom so I would need to live near the schools there and was wondering how nice the apartments are there? I am huge into detail so the place I would move to should be in very good standings and quality. Please email me back if you have any info for me.

The easiest way to find out the pay rate difference is to contact Marriott HR. There are also many web sites out there that will give you loads of info on pay rates all over the country such as Salary.com or Monster.com - or - you can also contact the US Department of Labor - Bureau of Labor Statistics (bls.gov).

In regard to schools, contact Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools at 615-259-INFO (4636).
