Where's a good place in Nashville to get great burgers?

Nashville has some pretty good places to get a good burger. DEFINITELY try Rotier's (615-327-9892) on Elliston Place. I've heard that this is the restaurant that inspired Jimmy Buffet's song - Cheeseburger in Paradise!! The cheeseburgers on French bread at Rotier's are legendary - be sure to get a milkshake, too! Yeah, I second the Rotier's vote. But, just so you know, it's totally a hole in the wall. Really good burgers though. Oh, and cheap beer!

I think some of the best burger joints in the US are little hole in the wall places! I am moving to Nashville next year, what part of town is Rotier's in? Also, any good Steak Houses anyone would recommend?

Rotiers is near Vanderbilt, which is just south of downtown. I don't know about steak joints! Sorry.

For great steaks and classy decor, I would highly recommend the Stock Yard Restaurant. It's located in an historical building from the 1920's and received the "International Award of Excellence" as one of the top ten steak houses in the United States by the International Restaurant and Hospitality Bureau.

Make sure to try their Certified Angus Beef Prime Rib Steak, it's their House Specialty!

Boswell's Harley davidson has a grill and they have the best burgers in Nashville now!

Boswell's has some good food, but the selections are very limited - their onion rings are the best I've ever had.

Rotiers has a wide variety of great food. There are very few things on the menu that are not done extremely well. Their hot water corn bread is the best in town. I love the country fried steak on Thursday nights. Haha, now, be advised that one woman cooks Country fried steak during the day and another at night. I much prefer the night version.

The French Bread for the cheeseburger is just great bread.

Don't miss Rotiers for breakfast on Saturday morning.

The Varsity Grille has great burgers along with other meals if you prefer something else. I recommend you try them out atleast once. I also found a deal where you can eat there with a $25 gift card that cost you only $10! Go to the halfoffdepot site and they have it on the nashville page. It'll help you out a lot....check it out.
