Are you allowed to smoke in the bars along Broadway? How about cigars?

A bar or restaurant can declare itself a "21 and up" establishment and allow smoking. No one under 21 can enter or work there. A number or bars have chosen to be smoking, a number have not.

From what I have seen it varies venue to venue. I know many on 2nd avenue do not allow smoking because they are more for tourists then residents.

when I visited last month they told me that Broadway street is divided in two...one side non smoking(legends, tootsies, the stage...)and across on the other side smoking is allowed:)
