Where to play golf and Stay in Nashville

My college friends and I are coming down to Nashville this weekend to play some golf and hit up some of the Nashville night life. Any ideas on where to play and stay to make this as easy as possible??

Probably stay somewhere along the Broadway/West End corridor.

There's a number of public golf courses. The greens are probably not very good this time of year. You might try McCabe or Ted Rhodes if you want to try one of the public courses close into town. They're not the best courses but acceptable (according to my golfing buddies).

The second choice would be the course at the Opryland Hotel. The LPGA used to use it.
