Better area of Nashville?

I'm going to be in Nashville for a few days and am wondering which is the better area to stay. I have two hotel choices:

1. One is 8 miles southeast of downtown, 95 Wallace Road, I-24 at Harding Place.

2. The second is near the airport, I-24 at Harding Place, Exit #56
420 Metroplex Drive.

Which is the quieter, better area? I especially want to avoid areas with lots of punks booming their rap.

I'm not sure I understand. They're both basically the same area. That general area isn't the best in Nashville, but you should be fine staying at a hotel there.

Without knowing the hotels in question, I would probably pick the one on MetroPlex.
