Country Fried Steak

Several years ago I went to a conference in down town Nashville and ate at a near by restaurant. Can't remember hotel or restaurant name, but they had the best country fried steak I ever ate. Will be in Nashville in 2 weeks and would love to eat there again. Also would like info on any other good places to eat. Thanks

417 Union (yes, that's the name of the restaurant!) has great Southern foods. Also, a bit more upscale is Monell's on 6th Ave - and The Acorn. For a place more of a dive, try Rotier's. Known for being a hole-in-the-wall and reasonably priced -and- great Southern food - it's definitely a place to check out while you're in town.
