How to relocate to Nashville...???

I am dying to get out of Memphis due to the high crime (3rd in country), earthquake exposure, corrupt city government leaders, low-performing/unsafe school systems, etc. etc. etc...!
What I need, is some guidance on where in the suburbs of Nashville to look for? I'd like to find a job in the city, so I need somewhere no more than 10 miles of commute.
Please help!:confused:

Also, what are the steps of relocating? Find a job first, or house? Not sure how to proceed.

The most imortant question when looking for a neighborhood is really what can you afford. Certain neigborhood and areas tend to bring higher dollar values than others which comes back to the old adage of "Location, location, location"
