Hi. My family is coming to Nashville at the end of July and were staying at the KOA there. Anything you can tell me about the place. Also there will be several kids with us, whats so cool stuff for them to do. Thanks!!
The Nashville KOA has plenty to keep your kids occupied! Here are some ideas:
Mini Golf - They can play until they're worn out! It costs about $3.60.
Entertainment - There's live country music in KOA's Music Barn (which is set up like the Grand Ole Opry) every night and it's free - except on Wednesdays. Time: 7:30 until about 9pm. There's a different entertainer every night! On Wednesdays, the entertainment is 50's music and there's a $20 charge. Time: 7pm.
Arts & Crafts - Every Wednesday at 2pm for kids of all ages. FREE - although there are times when there's a small charge for special projects.
Hot Dog Roast & Ice Cream Social - Every Wednesday at 6pm. There is a charge for this.
Marshmallow Roast - Every Friday night at 8:30pm.
Line Dancing - Every Saturday between 2 & 3pm. This is for adults & Kids.
There's also banana bike rentals for $6/hour, a game room, pool table, pool, kid's pool and a sand area for kids near the pool.
A couple of other ideas for the kids in Nashville include the Nashville Zoo (http://www.nashvillezoo.org/)at Grassmere, 3777 Nolensville Road - (615) 833-1534 and Adventure Science Center (http://www.adventuresci.com/), 800 Fort Negley Boulevard - (615) 862-5160. :D
