I am moving to Nasvhille at the end of July. I have an established band in Little Rock, Arkansas ("The Rena Wren Band"), but am leaving most of my band behind. I need to build a new band there and am trying to locate interested musicians now. I have a record deal with a label in Hot Springs and will be continuing to commute to finish the cd. Chosen band members will be given the opportunity to record on the cd and to play live venues with me. I play guitar and sing and I have about 4 hours of original music and need serious, committed band members to continue this project with me once I get there. I particularly need an upright bassist and a drummer, but have in the past used banjo, mandolin, fiddle, sax, harmonica on various songs and welcome any one interested to come and sit it with me and try it out. My style is Indie, Folk-Rock, Folk-Country. The CD we are recording will have a country edge. The new band name will be "Firefly."
