Different areas of Nashville...

I'm moving to Nashville in February. I'm trying to figure out which part of Nashville would best suit me. So, could somebody tell me about the different areas of Nashville and what each is known for? Thank you!

Would love to help - but tell us what you're looking for first. For example, do you have kids? Are you looking for downtown living or away from the city with lots of land? Are you interested in a condo, apartment, house? Where will you be working....etc.

No kids. I'm 18 years old. I'll be working in downtown. And I'm looking for an apartment.

Some cool areas include Vanderbilt & Belmont areas, West End area, and east Nashville which is an up & coming area. If you want to live outside of downtown - look into the Brentwood & Franklin areas. Very nice 'burbs. Rent can be pricey in these places - are you going to have a roommate?
