Places to Stay in Downtown Nashville

My husband and I are taking a road trip to Nashville. We've never been and I would like some ideas of where to stay downtown that is walking distance to the clubs, bars, attractions. Thanks!

There are plenty of places to stay in downtown Nashville - here are a few to mention: Holiday Inn Express, Sheraton, Renaissance, Courtyard Marriott, Doubletree, Hilton, the Hermitage and Wyndham at Union Station (closest to the interstate and a little bit of a walk to the heart of downtown, but definitely doable). A lot depends on what type of hotel you're looking for - for example Holiday Inn Express is economical while the Hermitage is pricey.

I highly recommend Holiday Inn Express Downtown Broadway. We have visited from Norway 4 years in a row, and we always stay here! It has a great location, only a 5 minute walk to lower Broadway and the bars. The staff is great, and the breakfast is awesome. The rooms are clean and the bed is good ;) Hope u enjoy ur stay :)
