Are there seriously any East Asian restaurants in Nashville? I recently found a Korean restaurant, Hai Woon Dai. It was totally dead at noon; I was the only customer, but the food was authentic and decent. I've also been to Rusan's, which is an Americanized version of Japanese food. I didn't like it much. Aren't there any traditional Japanese restaurants? How about Chinese? All I can find are buffets. Seems pretty lame for a city of nearly 1million. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place.

Thanks, and sorry for being a bit negative. It's just I haven't gotten a very good impression of the city. I mean, besides McDonald's and Applebees, what is there? Maybe if someone just gave a listing of restaurants that would help clear things up.

The best Japanese restaurant i've found in nashville is called Koto (it's a lot more authentic than Ru San's...)
