Those of you who watched the Country Music Awards last week probably will remember the dancing band member (from Brentwood High School) who was on with Brad Paisley performing his song, "Online". That dancing band member is my dear friend's nephew!
If you saw him, you know he stole the show at the end of the song when he was on stage "bustin' some moves" with Kelly Pickler. He was a hysterical and really "seized the moment!" He has had local TV interviews, is on You Tube, and is the talk of his school...and enjoying every second!
On a side note, Brad Paisley asked the band to record a portion of the song that is featured at the end of the song on his CD. He donated money to the band as a "Thank You" and when the CD was released, he came to the school and brought Cds and tshirts for the band and spent time with them talking about the music industry, signing autographs and personally thanked them for playing on his cd. He also promised them that if the cd was a hit, he would invite them to perform live with him. I am sure that they had no idea that he would make good on that promise at the Country Music Awards! You gotta love this guy!
