My family and I are putting our home for sale soon to move to Tennessee. We're coming up next month to see if Nashville is the right location for us. We have a visually impaired daughter, so we are thinking we would like to be close to the Tennessee School for the Blind. Mt. Juliet, Green Hills, seems to be close to that location, so we've been looking on line at homes in that location and nearer to Nashville.

My husband will start his painting/drywall/tile business over in Nashville. It just seems that, here in Orlando, with so many unlicensed contractors, quality doesn't matter much any more, and we're having a terrible time finding employees. I will, hopefully, be able to find a job as a paralegal pretty quickly.

We have enough equity in our home to be able to pay cash nearly in full for a home. From what we're seeing on line, homes seem to run about $100,000 - $125,000. I saw a message on another thread that homes run $200,000 and about flipped. Hopefully that won't be the case.

Any comments/suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.
