Nashville has some great places to network to meet other people in the industry. Here are 2:
Indie Connect runs multiple music industry networking events every week in middle TN. They are attended by singers, songwriters, musicians, booking agents, producers, engineers and other people in the industry. They are open to the public, and cost $5.00. Doak Turner runs an event called '3rd Sunday at 3' at his house every month. Of course, it's on the 3rd Sunday of the month at 3 PM, and attracts anywhere from 50-200 songwriters who take turns playing their songs for each other. There is no cost. Check out www.nashvillemuse.com.
