Is Nashville a good choice for New Years Ever? Just curious if anyone had any thoughts! Thanks!

I think downtown Nashville is always fun and New Year's is no exception. What are you looking for? If you're looking for a laid-back, fun New Year's Eve bar hopping for one honky-tonk bar to the next, then you'll have a blast. If you're looking for an elegant evening dressed to the nines, then, hmmmm...let me think about that one!

What clubs downtown may be having private New Years parties or big bashes? We will be in Nashville that evening! Thanks!

I just saw they're having a New's Eve Bash - featuring Craig Morgan, Ambrosia & the Devonshires. I'm sure the place will be rockin!

Tootsie's is having a bash (I think they're charging $50, so keep in mind, because you won't be able to walk in & out like usual without paying).

Legends is the ususal - no cover - come and go (if you can sqeeze in!). Robert's Western World - the same - no cover on New Year's Eve. I don't think The Stage has a cover either.

Downtown Nashville will be packed!

Del McCoury Band will be performing at the Ryman on New Year's Eve. Others will be performing same night - Ronnie Bowman, Drew Emmitt & Vince Herman (of Leftover Salmon), Jon Fishman (of Phish) and Steep Canyon Rangers.

You can bet it will be a pretty great show!
