Where are the African American Communities? I would like to move to Nashville in a diverse community but first I want to look at them on line as well as identify them when I visit Nashville on 5/17. I will be bringing my kids to visit and I want them to get a full understanding of Nashville. If you have any information on R&B clubs for the 20ish crowd as well as the 40ish crowd please share it with me. I also have two younger children I would like to get involved in boys and girls club so please direct me to places like that as well.
Thanks,

R&B music - check out "BB Kings" on 2nd Ave in downtown Nashville - another one to consider is 3rd & Lindsley Bar and Grill in downtown Nashville. Their address is: 818 3rd Avenue South, Nashville and you can contact them at 615.259.9891. They play a variety of music (rock & roll, alternative, soul, r&b, etc).
There are 3 boys & girls clubs in the Nashville area - Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee, (615) 320-5106, 916 16th Ave N, Nashville, TN 37208, Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee: Thompson Lane Unit, (615) 833-4900, 67 Thompson LN, Nashville, TN 37211 and Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee, (615) 298-3345, 601 Benton Ave, Nashville, TN 37204.
Welcome to Nashville! Good luck!
