Welcome back Team David followers,
This is going to an unusual blog post for me. News articles do not normally rile me as much as one I have been following today. I couldn’t sit by idly while this person defiles the words of our Creator. This man’s tongue is so crooked with God’s message he can open bottles of wine. Perhaps his egotistical self esteem will be his downfall when he compares himself with GOD, don’t you think?
Who else could I be speaking of but evil incarnate- Bro. Fred Phelps and the Westboro Baptist Church.
I believe in minding my own business. But when good people do nothing about Evil, they are destined to fall to Evil. I believe in free speech and the freedom to worship as the right of every citizen. But on the same token, please allow me my freedom as a God fearing Christian citizen.
I could degenerate and take the low road with one of my famous “4-Z snaps” of malicious, cynical, snide and sarcastic remarks. But that would only serve to lower myself down to Bro Fred’s I.Q., lower than room temperature.
There is an adage amongst the gay and lesbian community saying, “Any man who would outright twist the words of God against homosexuality has in all likelihood had a homosexual experience that he thoroughly ENJOYED. You can kiss him, you can f*&^ him, but you can’t call him a queer!”
But, let’s be positive. Surely we can find some good in this sorry situation. Indulge this dying soul to have a few words about that arrogant, extremist, egocentric, maniac “man of the cloth.” Tampon would be more accurate, but I digress.
So Brother Phelps, this dying, pot-smoking, gay, Navy veteran, Hospice patient who- by the way is a Christian- is going to point out a few key points from God. You evidently were not listening to Him when He told you.
I’m positive Bro. Phelps did not read my blog post about The Color Wheel of bias and bigotry.
Our Creator made a Hell. I am very positive The Westboro Baptist Church is destined to spend well deserved eons in it, studying upon their utterly contemptuous message of hate they attempted to spread while they were misusing their time on earth.
I am absolutely positive Bro. Phelps has the biggest set of testicles on Earth, as it takes a pretty damn big set of balls to defy God’s message so openly and vocally. I would be terrified to be standing near him in a thunderstorm for fear of being struck down from a bolt of lightning from a pissed off God.
I doubt Brother Phelps true Bible literacy for he does NOT know what Jesus said about homosexuality. (NOTHING. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING) It appears that Brother Phelps has never heard of the Lord’s 11th Commandment added to the original ten given to Moses.
Jesus’ new 11th commandment was given by the Lord when He addressed the disciples at the Last Supper. Jesus said, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples.” (John 13: 34-35) I know that to know love is to know God. Bro. Phelps has proven he does not know love from his sacrilegious actions.
Bro. Phelps does God want us to hate sinners, or hate our enemies, or represent Him in this way? Are we not supposed to be representing God’s offer of grace in this world? Does God want us to have this kind of attitude to the lost: “The WBC prays for your destruction—more shooters, more dead carcasses piling up, young, old, leader and commoner—all. Your doom is upon you! Praise His Name!”? No!
Definitely not! God tells us to love our enemies and pray for our persecutors! That is, pray for their blessing – not their destruction. Jesus said, “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. If you love those who love you, what reward will you get?” (Matthew 5:43-46).“
Also, Bro. Phelps we are to speak to others with respect: “speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ” (Eph 4:15), and “Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, 16 keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander. 17 It is better, if it is God’s will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil” (1 Pet 3:15-17).
We cannot judge who will be saved, either, so how can we condemn anyone, as WBC is doing? “Therefore don’t judge anything prematurely, before the Lord comes, who will both bring to light what is hidden in darkness and reveal the intentions of the hearts” (1 Cor 4:5a). “God did not send His Son into the world that He might condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. Anyone who believes in Him is not condemned” (John 3:17-18a).
So to Brother Fred Phelps and the entire Westboro Baptist Church, I remain supremely positive you will be rewarded greatly for all of your hard work you do in destroying the lives, families, and honor of everyone you are against. My God is the ultimate of revenge seekers. Just saying……
Well folks, thanks for indulging me tonight. I would like to thank my editor, Cara Cossey-Pitchford for her words of wisdom with this posting. I promise to be back tomorrow my usual self.
